Allergy is the 5th leading chronic disease in the U.S. among all ages, and the 3rd most common chronic disease among children under 18 years old!
An estimated 50 million Americans suffer from all types of allergies (that’s 1 in 5 Americans!) including indoor/outdoor, food & drug, latex, insect, skin and eye allergies. Allergy prevalence overall has been increasing since the early 1980s across all age, sex and racial groups.
Did you know that allergy symptoms can be alleviated by learning simple reflexology protocols?
Reflexology is a healing technique based on the concept that on the feet, hands and ears there are a number of points that reflect the organs, body systems and vital functions. The various points on the foot or hand correspond to different areas of the physical body.
When pressure is applied to these points, healing is directed to the related areas of the body. Reflexology is used as a complementary therapy for a variety of illnesses including allergies. Manipulating and pressing with firm pressure on the reflexology points, helps to relieve some allergic symptoms and to restore the immune system in the body.
Allergies are acute immune system responses to a particular antigen, or foreign agent. In this course you will learn the four different types of antigens.
You will also get a full and complete understanding of what an allergy is and how and why it strikes certain people, and how to boost the immune system and stimulate the body’s life energy.
Come and learn the many hidden, yet powerful advanced reflexology points for allergy symptom relief. Discovering where they are and how to work them (thumb walking alone is not sufficient at this advanced level!) is vital to creating effective healing responses in the body.
This module also covers Muscle monitoring or muscle testing which is an ancient practice that has just recently been rediscovered. It is a form of biofeedback that taps into the nervous system which will respond to any stimulus.
With Muscle Monitoring we can use the body to tell us how the body is handling what we are doing with it. This science can be used to ask the body questions. With muscle monitoring we can discover areas in the body where energy is restricted or blocked. This is exciting, as the body knows everything and it always tells the truth.
Included in Allergy Relief & Prevention with Reflexology is an introduction to Ear Reflexology.
There are reflex points in the ear, that simply do not occur in the hands or feet, and the reason for including this information in the Allergy Relief module is to give the Professional Reflexologist the ability to be give more effective Reflexology sessions when working with clients who present with allergic conditions.
Reflexology treatments promote self-healing powers of the body, strengthen the body’s immune system and support the functions of the liver, kidneys and bowel. Reflexology clients with allergies, often show imbalances in the digestive system, endocrine system, respiratory system including lungs, sinus passages, ears, nose, throat and eyes, and parasympathetic nervous system. Treating these affected areas provide balance to the whole body and improve the natural functions such as breathing, digestion and circulation.
The lymphatic treatment of the foot plays an important role in the treatment of allergic clients. Those treatments help to promote the lymphatic flow necessary for toxin removal. This way, it helps the cleansing procedure of the body.
Besides relieving the symptoms of the allergy, Reflexology also reduces the sensitivity to allergens such as pollen or weeds.
Reflexology clients report an increase in life energy and vitality! Boost your Reflexology practice today by adding Allergy Relief & Prevention to your menu of services.
